Landscape Architecture

Don earned his BLA and BFA in Landscape Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Prior to creating Donald Sharp Inc. (DSI), Don was a partner at Veri & Sharp, Inc. (VSI) in Providence, RI. His responsibilities included planning, analysis, and design for commercial and institutional development projects, parks, recreation, high-end residential, and transportation enhancement/community revitalization projects.

Prior to VSI, Don was a principal and project manager for Martha Schwartz, Inc. in Cambridge, MA. Responsibilities included project management, design, construction documentation and field observation for many projects in the USA, England, and Japan.

Don is a registered Landscape Architect in Rhode Island as well as Massachusetts. In 1996 he served as President of the Rhode Chapter of the ASLA.
